The NAB Show 2016 – Startup Loft

Seastar Labs welcomes you get a glimpse of the future of sports broadcasting at the StartUp Loft at NAB 2016. We will be showcasing Cloud Live Production for distributed remote production of sports/events from anywhere in the world. Cloud Live Production exponentially increases scalability and reduces production costs by orders of magnitude. It truly brings high quality production to the realm of Tier II and III sports.

We are super excited to show off Cloud Live Production (CLiP) at our first major trade show. Imagine live production and broadcasting with a tablet: finger tap to cut to a camera, pinch to zoom, and drag to follow the ball, complete with scoring graphics, animations and replays, just like a professional broadcast.

Imagine no cameramen on the venue and the entire production and broadcast happening using remote producers using cloud infrastructure.

The StartUp Loft is a pavilion in the South Upper Hall of the Show that showcases innovative new companies and cutting edge solutions. It’s a one stop shop where show visitors can get their first look at new products and services that are ready to transform the media, entertainment, and technology market.
